A: Yes! I require a 30% retainer to secure your date, and the remaining balance can be split into monthly installments leading up to your wedding. We'll work together to find a payment schedule that fits your budget.
Q: Do you charge a travel fee for weddings outside San Antonio?
A: No travel fee within 100 miles of San Antonio. For weddings beyond that or out-of-state destinations, I provide a custom travel quote based on distance, lodging, and travel time. I've photographed weddings in California, Arizona, Florida, and all over Texas—I love to travel!
Q: What happens after we book?
A: Once you sign the contract and pay your retainer, your date is officially locked in! I'll send you a welcome guide with next steps, questionnaire to learn more about your story, and we'll start planning your engagement session. As your wedding gets closer, we'll have timeline calls to make sure everything flows smoothly.
Q: Do we need to meet in person before booking?
A: Not necessarily! While I love grabbing coffee with local couples, I've booked plenty of weddings over Zoom or FaceTime. What matters most is that we vibe and you feel confident I'm the right fit. If you want to meet in person and you're in the San Antonio area, I'm always down.
Q: What happens if you get sick or have an emergency?
A: I have a network of trusted backup photographers I can call. In five years, I've never missed a wedding, but if the absolute worst happened, you'd be covered by someone whose work I trust and who shares my values.
