but really, I just pay really close attention to people.

I'm Trisha — San Antonio & Los Angeles based, though I'll go wherever the story is (especially if there's good food involved).

I'm a textbook Taurus and an INFJ, which basically means I'm stubborn (more like I know what I like… mkay!), deeply sentimental, and will overthink a text message for an hour but somehow never overthink a big life decision.

A few things you'd probably learn about me over dinner: I've had the same 90s R&B playlist on rotation and I will NOT apologize for it. I light palo santo before almost everything — client calls, edits, existential crises. My partner and I watch Below Deck the way some people watch the news because in true lesbian fashion, we're only there for the psychological debrief.

I've built my whole life around noticing things other people rush past. Like the way a room feels different depending on who's in it, the version of someone that shows up only once they've stopped performing for whoever's watching. I think that's why I travel every chance I get. New places, new food, new cultures, new ways people love and celebrate and take care of each other — it rearranges something in me every time. And it's exactly where my eye for photography comes from. The more rooms I've sat in, the more I know what real looks like versus what's just being shown to a camera.

Here's what I actually think, though:

I've spent enough of my life being told to tone something down — to shrink, to perform, to make myself easier to swallow — that I built an entire career around the opposite. When you're in front of my camera, I don't want the version of you that's trying to look good. I want the one that forgets I'm even there. The real laugh. The hand that reaches for another hand without thinking about it. The exhale nobody choreographed.

That's it. That's the whole philosophy. Real reactions. Real light. Real you.

Whether you're saying "I do," celebrating something huge, or launching what you've poured your whole life into — I'm not just going to show up and take your picture. I'm going to know you a little, notice what makes you you, and hand you back a version of yourself you didn't know you needed proof of.
